Mongoloids....
You can't have the team with all prospects. That's not how you rebuild, you need a good mixture.

Rucchin, Straka, Rucinsky, Kasper, Malik, Weekes, and Nylander adds veteran leadership, guys to play against the other team's top guys, and the experience to help our young prospects along. There's four lines of three and three defensive pairings of two. There's plenty of room for our stud prospects and plus some. Also, injuries could change things. But Rucchin, Rucinsky, Straka are all signed to one-year deals, they'll be gone in a season when some of our other prospects can come up, like Jessiman for example. Rebuilding happens over a course of several years. Several years of good drafting, several years of bringing up the young kids at a reasonable rate, while having the Rangers win some games while keeping up the confidence of the players. I don't see why everyone is bitching, we're not signing guys over 30 to three year deals, there's nothing to complain about. We can't have 18 rookies on the team, it won't help regardless of what you may think. I'm not happy with the way Sather has gone about building this team since he has been here, but I refuse to bash Sather for every single move, especially when it's understandable moves.
