Earlier this year, the Rangers beat the Flyers my a margin of nine goals in a 9-0 win.  How many times have the Rangers won by a bigger margin in franchise history?

At least once...I recall a 10-0 win in recent memory, but I can't recall who the opponent was (my flimsy memory says the Maple Laughs but I don't think that's correct).

Remarkably enough, there have been two larger wins, though they predate most of us. The two biggest wins came against the now defunct California Golden Seals:

The biggest came on November 21st, 1971 - 12-1 (Ratelle had 4 goals)

The next largest win came almost three years later to the day - November 17th, 1974 10-0 (Middleton with 4 goals)

Sad to think that both of those guys ended up getting traded to the Bruins
