Win just enough to keep that first wild card. So AV can get housed by Julien again in the first round.

Vesey, Buchnevich, Lindberg were the best line, and one of them will get scratched next game in favor of Fast or Glass. Bet that.

Good game, good win, if not for the 2 stupid penalties could have been a shutout against a tough team this season.

Said nobody.

It ain't Minny they have to worry about. Start worrying about Julien and the Habs.

Should be

Kreider. Zabenijad Buchnevich
Vesey Stepan Nash
Miller Hayes Zuccarello
Glass or Albert, Lindbergh, Grabner

I heard they can't beat any of the top teams in the league. Wild had more points then The Rangers.... before last night.... Montreal never has

Which is even more awesome considering The Rangers should be the lower seed every round in The Playoffs, if they take that Wild Card spot

I guess Albert the player nobody wants...gets accolades at the end. Fast gets preferential treatment from AV even tho most of us dont want him

I remember one game Esposito was ripping Mario Marois to shreds. Just flat out calling him a lousey player.

If the home Rangers played the road Rangers, what do you think the score would be?

6-1 road Rangers is my guess.

I love how you meatheads RIP on Fast aka "Albert"(??) , yet never said a word about Korpikoski ..... The Korpedo (eyeroll) , and the reference to the Tire commercial, I'm assuming is that Fast is like AVs kid bro? Dumb.....and.....hockey ignorant. Sheer brilliance from the OTG board..... I mean, who wants a low round draft pick to contribute to the team

Fast made a diving block with 10 seconds left that may have prevented a goal. He's the type of player you want on the ice in that situation. Not as a 3rd line winger. Breaking up Miller-Hayes-Grabner is asinine.

Fast was trying (and failing) to move and tie up an opposing player near the net. Found himself near the puck and thew himself in the way of the shot. Good play? Sure. A play that nobody else could make? No, not even close.

Again, little Jesper blocks a shot in the waning seconds and he's praised as such a great player. He's a "nice" 3rd line player (at best) who is undersized but with good speed and passing. In the context of THIS team, he is a terrible fit. Not talented enough to deserve a spot in the top 9 forwards, and too ****ing small for 4th line duty. Maybe on a bigger team looking for some speed and penalty killing to compliment their size and heavy game he'd be a good fit. On THIS team he's a ****ing waste. The team is actually better of with *gasp* Tanner Glass on the 4th line in his place. Chew on that and realize that AV's infatuation with Jesper is more of a "Fatal Attraction"-type obsession.

Jesper Fast is not a terrible player. And he's also nothing special. The NHL has had many players that try hard. The reality of how important a player is becomes apparent when he is absent. His absence was not even noticeable during his injury. As mentioned by PV29 he's not a fit as a light weight fourth liner and his presence and minimal offensive skills on a top three line just block the far superior skills of Vesey and Buchnevich as they try to crack the top three.
