I don't care how many Devils reacted to the knee on knee.... what did it accomplish.... other than showing team comaraderie?

And sometimes just knowing your team has your back is enough.

These sexual abuse allegations aren't over someone asking for a phone number you morons!

Women have been dealing with a lot of straight abuse for a very long time. Constant ass grabbing.... habitual rude comments that cross the line of friendly flirting to knowingly making women feel uncomfortable.... on purpose.

You want your daughters growing up with that? Getting their asses grabbed by their boss?

We need to say as a society that it's unacceptable. Treat everybody with respect, especially women.

You can say, "wow you look absolutely beautiful today." You can ask for her phone number and get rejected

But when you cross the line of touching a woman without consent, or telling your secretary to bend over.... don't be surprised when you get harrassment charges on you because that's what it is

For the most part I agree with you, but PV is partially right too. Sometimes the allegations get really sketchy and it takes away from the actual victims. Like that woman who claimed assault because 90+ year old George Bush brushed her ass. The guy can barely sit upright in the wheel chair. Or there was another famous woman(forget who at the moment) who claimed harassment because a TSA agent asked for her phone number. That was her actual harassment claim. He asked for her number. I won't knock the movement, but it's not all legit and that minimizes actual victims.

Right so comaraderie.... Everyone sees a display of the guys on the ice getting all mad aboit the hit, but.... your guy still got hit.... you fighting someone isn't going to prevent the next hit from coming either.

It's not like LA was like, oh man these guys didn't like that, let's take it easy on them now....

Right people lie, and that's wrong.... but how is that the focus?

These allegations.... Matt Lauer... Kevin Spacey.... The Donald.... Mario Batali

It's always multiple accusers.

Maybe a couple of the 16 accusers against Trump.for example are stretching the truth.... but where there's smoke there's fire.

Just because one or some of the women are gold digging, doesn't mean the men being accused are innocent.

It's like, some of Michael Jackson's accuser could have been and probably were lying.... but somewhere along the line Michael touched one or some of those little boys....

Matt Lauer crossed a line somewhere.

And so, he and others are getting called out on it, and hopefully more men will be conscious of the fact that there could be consequences foe their actions down the road here

I agree with Rob. We need to as a society say sexual misconduct is unacceptable!

I suggest we find a famous couple to go from state to state and hold conferences on the dangers of sexual misconduct. Bill and Hillary Clinton!!

Maybe if the women the "multiple" women who claimed not just sexual misconduct but RAPE were believed, instead of destroyed by Bill, Hillary, and the media, maybe we would have more control of this situation!

And how far back can we dig?

Some of these women who have claims in now, say it happened 25 years ago!!

I'm so thankful that I'm not judged on some stupid stuff I may have said or done 25 years ago!! Like Paula Dean who used the "N" word 30 years ago, loses her sponsors and over a half of her income. When is enough enough?

This guy from Alabama, the senator who just lost. There is NO proof of misconduct, but he has been labeled a molester by the media, again with NO proof. What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty?

By a Franken resigning he’s admitting guilt. Bill Clinton accused by multiple women “crickets chirping” until the joke of his impeachment. Didn’t hurt him one bit. To this day he walks around with multiple accusers and nothing is done, protected by his wife the enabler who laughed it all off as boys will be boys.
This crap about guilty until proven innocent in all walks of life has gotten everything out of control. It’s insane. I’m all for punishment when somebody is guilty but only then. It’s like Robitaille wife’s comments, so stupid and not even worth the ink. He flirted with her big deal. So much of this unsubstantiated he said she said crap out there you don’t know what to believe anymore and therein lies the future problem of turning numb to the legitimate claims.

Read my post again because you totally missed the point.

We don't need to say as a society that assaulting women is unacceptable, because IT ALREADY IS unacceptable. The scumbags who have done these things should rot in jail. Your outrage is nice, but where's your outrage over why no criminal charges have yet to be brought against Weinstein or Lauer?

If that needs to be explained to you, than I would hate to play on a team with you.

Why don't you tell us why you think the Devils reacted the way they did? If according to you there's no purpose in defending Hall when he got hit knee on knee, then why did professional hockey players in the NHL react that way?

Simmonds sucker punched McD. Next time they played Mcilrath fought Simmonds. Now the fact that Simmonds sucker punched McD was still there, but it is also a fact that it didn't happen again.

The Rangers showed other teams that's not acceptable!

If you did something, and someone punched you in the face for doing it, are you going to do it again? Or if someone did something to a teammate of yours would you really not stand up for him? Would you really look the other way?

There was evidence of assault in the cases of Weinstein and Lauer. Allegedly there's also evidence regarding Spacey beyond just the accusations of women. But if rounding up several women to make accusations is enough to get a guy to lose his job or end up in jail, then you might as well get rid of half of the Bill of Rights.

Guilty until proven innocent? When did we start that system of justice?

There's evidence that Lauer committed rape in Sochi during the Olympics according to the head of NBC. There's also allegedly evidence that this was not an isolated incident. If so, then he should be given due process and prosecuted. This bull**** of trial in the court of public opinion and the Twitter-sphere needs to stop. Same for Weinstein. When will he be indicted and brought to trial? If these guys get to walk away from these charges without even an indictment, then this whole #MeToo fake outrage is bull****.

This. This is the problem and the risk of giving legitimacy to this "movement".

The women that are real victims of violence and harassment should not be lost in the noise of all the overhyped and false claims.

I'm with you on this one Rob. It's as much about the show of power as it is the sex itself.

You lose your job because of the business aspect of it.

Who wants a guy who was accused by 6 women of sexual misconduct as the face of their company?? They say sex sells, but not that kind.

Stepping down from a job isn't the same as going to jail.

Now, if Matt Lauer was somehow found to be not guilty, he'll surely get his job back. But till then, there's no way him or Spacey... Mario Batali.... how are they suppose to be public figures with all of this?

They gotta step down...

And quite frankly they're all probably guilty.... I'm suppose to feel bad that they lost their job or have to pay some lying bitch who jumped on the train to sue somebody.... yeah those people are bad too, but whatever karma is a bitch....
