Yeah, so good news is they have Wahlstrom at #9..... bad news is he's flanked by Hughes and Boqvist. If Wahlstrom goes at #8 leaving us the two small D, I hope they reach up to 12 and get Kravtsov

Bode Wilde fell to #25 on this list..... if he comes to us at #26 I'll be more than happy to have drafted Wilde and Kravstov

Now to get Bode Wilde

Yo you guys are nuts, this guy is really good! Better than Wahlstrom? I just don't know.... but fantastic dynamic forward

Everyone had Wahlstrom rated better than this guy. Many places had Wahlstrom top 5.Headscratching and disappointing.Particularly when there were 3 guys there at #9 that I wanted and 2 of them went to the friggin Island.

Total garbage

Rangers take Kravtsov

At No. 9, the New York Rangers selected Vitali Kravtsov, a right wing ranked No. 14 among International skaters by NHL Central Scouting. It was the first of three first-round selections held by the Rangers, who are scheduled to pick at No. 26 (from the Boston Bruins) and No. 28 (from the Tampa Bay Lightning).

Kravtsov, 18, had 11 points (six goals, five assists) in 16 games with Traktor Chelyabinsk of the Kontinental Hockey League during the 2018 Gagarin Cup Playoffs. That was the most points by a junior player (younger than 20 years old) in one playoff year in KHL history, breaking the record of nine held by Evgeny Kuznetsov, who plays for the Washington Capitals, and Valeri Nichushkin, who played for the Dallas Stars.

There is no figuring this **** out.... With the history of never taking what is there for them and always making a head scratching pick.... they just keep doing it...

I always thought- screw the draft we suck and pick the worst so I never got to discussions regarding it because of what I just said in the beginning of this sentence.
So this year I thought things have changed, new coach with knowledge of young talent and GM who opens himself to fans that he is all about DOING THE RIGHT THING read smart trades and careful drafting.
As it appears so they none of it.
Just another guy in the office.

It’s like they like going against the grain to show how smart they are. Ignore the obvious and make it look hard to do. Maybe this kids a player says will be here another year down the road and even then the Rangers might still be looking for righty dmen.

Kravstov is the 3rd best European skater ranked in central scouting.... ahead of Kotkaniemi...

Wahlstrom is the 7th best North American skater

We all saw what mock drafts said, every year they mean nothing.

Rangers move up to #22

I don't know, to move up 4 spots you deal a mid 2nd rounder. Seems like a bit much.
