Rangers are 3-6-1 ...but did Heatl miss one of those games? I dont think he did

My bad I looked at the OTG schedule and there wasn’t a score for last night, I just added the games with scores. So the horse is out of the barn on the contract, and he will probably get sent down if he doesn’t start producing something. Fabulous asset management.

This is going to look bad on Gorton if Chytil gets sent down soon. And right now he's far from a lock to stick.

If they continue to play him on the fourth line with McLeod then yes I agree his time is better spent in Hartford. If they can actually play him with decent players and get him some PP time, then by all means keep him up.

It's all moot from an ELC standpoint for now, but putting him on the fourth line does not help him at all.

Problem is, who does it do good to have on the 4th line with McLeod? We don't have a Dom Moore

Put him on the top two lines in Hartford at CENTER, give him and Andersson 20 plus minutes every game, all first power plays, all penalty killing if he’s inclined, important facedoffs split with Andersson. Next year you got two kids ready to rock in New York. All they are going to get in New York this season is ice time scraps. It’s not good for either, you want to make them better, give them all the ice they can handle in Hartford.

This is a much better plan than playing him with McLeod with fourth line minutes. I'd like to think they would consider this but this is the organization who signed McLeod in the first place.

Maybe it's the tin foil hat talking but I also think they would be reluctant to send him down as he's the current poster boy of the rebuild. You send Chytil down and your rebuild looks like, Howden and Pionk? Fans that can see longer term won't have a problem with this but casual fans, definitely will.

Sometimes we forget the Rangers' purpose is to make money first and win second. Need Proof? All you need to see is Chytil on the 4th line with McClod.

That's the paradox of the Rangers. We're happy that we're not one of these franchises that are constantly in financial peril, but making money has a cost.

Quinn has been blending lines constantly, and Buch has been punished for lack of consistent effort, but I would certainly try demoting Buch to the fourth line and promoting Chytil to play with some talent.
