This boards stupidity of blaming Andersson for everything is comical. He's played well in his recall. He's a good influence on Buchnevich who has been a lazy dog most of his career. Slowly but surely this fan base is becoming like the Mets. A bunch of aging, miserable tools who do nothing but find new whipping boys every month. In other words, it's becoming a fan base that no prospect or FA will want to play for.

I wasn't home to watch the game. I guess the story of this season, a dollar short, a day late. Nemestikov (sp?) is the new Higgins, a ton of chances, not much to show for it. Like I said wins will be hard to come by, but that's what it is with a team in rebuild mode trading their scorers, & all that. If this team gets into Top 5 gets a top prospect ready to go & step right in, the rebuild will go that much faster.

This Lemieux will be a fan fav for sure.

I could have heard wrong, but he has 5 goals in his last 8 games and has been one of the better Ranger forwards for a while now. Easily one of the most improved Ranger forwards so far this season.

Although true that he has 5 goals in his last 8 games and that he has been playing better lately, he still only has 9 goals for the season. Let's just say over the last 2 weeks he's one of the most improved players....

He gets a lot of chances, if you remember Higgins, the same thing, but capitalize on his chances. He would have many more goals, doesn't have the finishing touch, the scorer touch.

It has been a lot longer than two weeks. Namestnikov has been steadily improving his game under Quinn. He has reinvented himsejelf adding a lot of grit and mental toughness to his game. It's a PROCESS trying to improve players. Namestnikov has been a poster child of a player steadily improving his game all year. As usual on here unnoticed by most, until he scores a few.

So far our fan base is showing very little patience with the rebuild. Buchnevich is almost 4 years older than Andersson and has seem almost as much time on the bench has Hackenberg.

Good. Would love to see the kid get a look here to end the season. Same with Shesterkin and Rykov. There are boat load of talented defenseman prospects near NHL ready on this team. At some point some will go in a significant deal. Guy I would be zeroing in on is Ritchie from Anaheim. 6'2, 234. I think he breaks out with more talent around him. Anaheim needs to rebuild big time. They need picks and many prospects in all areas.
