PANTHERS (7-4-5) at RANGERS (7-6-1)

1 p.m. ET; NHLN, MSG, FS-F, NHL.TV

The Game

The New York Rangers seek their first three-game winning streak of the season when they host the Florida Panthers at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.

Goalie Henrik Lundqvist will make his third straight start for New York, which defeated the Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday (5-1) and the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday (4-2).

Goalie Sam Montembeault is expected to start for Florida after Sergei Bobrovsky made 34 saves in a 2-1 loss at the New York Islanders on Saturday, which ended a three-game point streak (2-0-1).

The Rangers have earned at least one point in 16 of 18 games against the Panthers since the 2013-14 season (13-2-3) and have a point in nine of their past 10 against them (6-1-3).

Rangers have good jump today, getting to loose pucks quicker than the Panties.

They looked really tired at the very end of regulation and in OT...not sure what' going on with that other than this game was a bit end to end I guess. Never fun to lose in the shootout, just such a crappy way to lose.

Florida sucks. Their team defense is as bad as this teams and they have no excuse. You can't win in the playoffs playing crap defense like they and this team do.
