So it's still not official official, but looks like the following:

Eastern teams will play in Toronto, the West will play in Edmonton.
Edmonton sounds like it will host the Conference Finals and Cup Final
There could be as many as three games per day in each city, with games scheduled at 12pm, 4pm and 8pm
Last possible day for Stanley Cup award would be October 2nd
Draft to be held on October 6th

No word yet on projected date for 2020-21 season, though they did say the CBA extension removed the one-week negotiation period prior to the traditional UFA date of July 1st

You know hockey is back when you start hearing trade rumors..
Question...would you give up Georgiev and either Fast, Strome or Tony D for Johnny Hockey.....Answer...in a blink

Johnny Gaudreau trade rumors expectedly have the New York Rangers involved.

So why are we talking about the Flames trading Johnny Gaudreau?
For the Flames it all comes down to money and the cap. Calgary operated with just under $1 million in space before the pause. Heading into next year Calgary only has $16M in cap space with just 9 forwards, 4 defensemen, and 1 goalie signed. If you do the math, that isn’t enough money to fill a roster.

Do It....Do it

Artemi Panarin one of three finalists for Ted Lindsay Award
NHLPA’s Ted Lindsay Award that goes to the league’s “Most Outstanding Player” as voted by the players.

Panarin, who recorded 95 points (32-63) in 69 games while leading the league in even-strength points and assists, is one of three finalists for the trophy, joined by Edmonton’s Leon Draisaitl and Colorado’s Nathan MacKinnon. It would be no surprise at all if these three forwards are also named finalists for the Hart Trophy when that announcement is made by the league next week.

Alain whining after the game because Muller put his number one power play out late with a 5-0 lead. Says he’s going to be reminding his boys before the next game. So typical of Vigneault. Also over in Vancouver J.T. Miller a very important player, wasn’t good enough to play for a fool in New York who couldn’t coach him.

Vigneault couldn’t coach a pig in the barn with a bucket of chop in the playoffs.

Hmmm, well it sure looks like he took a far inferior team than the rangers a lot farther than we went....scratches head

The reason your scratching your head is because you are confused Philly was the number one seed in the East, has a lot of talent and has a very good team. Far from a inferior team to the Rangers, which is ridiculous. And had the usual Vigneault playoff under achievement.

I watched a lot of the Flyers/Islanders series. Games 2 & 5, the Flygirls took a 3-1 lead into the third periods of both, and allowed the Fishies to tie them. It reminded me a lot of our 2017 series against Ottawa.
