Jerks' young players can't be stopped by the Rangers. A team known for its scoring, can't score. You can't score, you can't win. Right now the Rangers look lost, not even competing.

Lemieux’s passion will help, but they got a big hole to get out of now.

The puck should never drop at noon.... way too early for a proper hockey game.

The first 2 Shevchenko goals were on Hank and once the Canes get up they can pressure pressure pressure and clog the middle. Hank needed to be perfect for the Rangers to have a chance. Getting down in the first minute or so in both games killed the Rangers and charged up the Canes. Quinn has no answer for the Canes and is in over his head.

The little run the Rangers had during the season was built on excellent goaltending and some hot scoring. Both have been missing and that just leaves the weak D play.

the only positives that can come out of this are:

A. We are not ready to compete in the playoffs with the current lineup
B. We have a 12.5% chance of getting the first overall pick.
C. We need to make a decision on the three-headed monster and get some picks or another roster player

I didn't expect them to win this series due to a lack of experience. However, starting the third best goalie on this team for the playoffs was moronic. Hopefully Hank realizes it's over now and retires. I give Quinn one more year to see if this team improves defensively. If not, there is a heck of a coach working for the WolfPack.

You put your best players on the first line. Panarin needs to be paired with Zib. Our problem is, if we did this we have no 2nd line. The young forwards need to mature quickly.

Youngest team in the league. How can you blame the coach?

Ih Hank doesn't retire, they will have to buy him out. They are going to need room with a fixed cap.

I agree with all of this. Jerks young players are 1-2 years ahead in development of Rangers young players & it shows. They are dominating, Rangers youngsters are lost.

And, not enough people around give Jerks credit, this is a good team with a lot of talent that drafted well all those high picks.

The Rangers top 6 are decent and are showing nothing. Losing Fast does not help, but Fast is not an offensive wing. Anybody seen Kreider? After all those pp chances, they finally score on a 5 on 3, and it took a seeing eye miracle pass through 2 sets of skates (lots of luck) from Strome to Panarin.

Steady Eddie - 2020-08-04 7:29 AMYoungest team in the league. How can you blame the coach?

Why did Georgiev play all those games during the season when Shesterkin was injured? Maybe because he is now better than hank? I get starting Hank in game one, but Quinn needed to do something different in game 2 and start Georgiev.
The entire hockey universe knows how the Canes play. The Rangers got down in both games and it was over. Do you game plan for this at all? Quinn thinks he did as he thru the players under the bus after each game. The Rangers looked clueless while facing the Canes forecheck.
The D is still horrendous. Staal needs to take a seat. Watch Staal on Aho's ppg in game one. There are 2 Canes in front of Hank after Lindgren chases the puck (mistake one), but Staal is behind BOTH and the one he was closer to, Aho, scores from right in front of Hank. What was Staal thinking? He should not be playing. That is on the coach.

Quinn has lucked out with hot goalies and Panarin and Zib having mvp type seasons and dragging the Rangers into the playoffs. The team d still has no clue.

They absolutely have to buy out Hank.

You go with the hot hand. It was Shesty, but something happened, so you go with the future hall of famer who did well in summer camp and has a stellar record against the Canes. I don't blame Hank. I think you need to give a good Canes team some credit.

I've wanted Staal gone for years, so you are preaching to the choir. He too should be bought out to make room for Hajek and/or Miller.

I think Lemieux back in could light a fire for the Rangers. His game is infectious, motivating his team with his hard nosed grit. Attributes admired by teammates. Shestorokin in can’t hurt. Lundqvist I’m sure would like a few that got by him back. But he earned his starts in camp when Shestorokin went down. Lundqvist was arguably the best goalie in camp. That being said his two games pretty much mirrored his season.
The Rangers got it to do now and the last thing they need is a sloppy start, first goal and a lead would certainly help. Win tonight and you got some jam going into game four. I think the Rangers will play their best game tonight
