If it's Chytil, Jones, Kravtsov and Hajek I'm good with it. Even Miller instead of Hajek. Worth the risk. Not sure how they heck they would manage the cap long term.

God I hope not. I'd rather have the hot dog eater from Phoenix than this loser.

Dreger was talking about it. It was on HF which is useless where posters go but there are some interesting links to stuff.

Eichel is not worth the players listed above. We don't know what he will look like after either surgery if and when he has it, we can speculate that he will return to form but the asking price is way to high. I would rather keep Chytil and Kravtsov two players are better than one in this case.

Spare me. Chytil is soft and he can't finish. Kravtsov is soft and has shown nothing to make the team. Jones played well but he's small and there is no spot for him with 2 smaller d guys on the roster already. Eichel is a first line center. I wouldn't put too much into his behavior or actions. Buffalo is a joke of an organization who has no fn clue what they are doing.

If the Rangers sign Zib there is no way they sign Eichel.

This. They can't fit them both long term. With his injury, Eichel is a risk. Why take the chance?

Rangers are probably trying to use Eichel as a negotiating ploy with Zibs contract.

Eichel still has not been able to come to some kind of agreement with Buff about surgery, this year is starting to fade for him, he might not recover as quickly or ever recover, his contract is an expensivo number that will be hard to insure. The only way you take the risk is if you do not give up much and try to match the money somehow. The rangers cannot even give buff a big contract to balance the Eichel contract. The only 2 that are close would be Trouba and Kreider and they both have no trades right now.

It seems to me that Eichel is not coming to the NYR.

Strome will not be back after this year if they get Eichel. He's nowhere close to that level. Trouba will eventually be moved once his dumbass NTC that moron Gorton gave him is up.

Trade for Eichel lose Zibanejad check. Get rid of Strome check. End up with Eichel, Chytil, Barron, Rooney down the middle instead of Zibanejad, Strome, Chytil or Barron, and Rooney F’n brilliant. Fortunately Drury is not on the pipe.

You are constantly throwing shit on the wall waiting for something to stick.  Maybe it's time to realize you are not the amazing evaluator of talent that you believe you are.

  • Chytil is still 22 years old and has not been given a chance to play as a top 6 winger on a regular basis, he has the potential to be the most offensively dynamic player on this team.
  • Kravtsov is 21 and increased his value from last year, hence the ability to walk away from Buchnevich.  He is another big, skilled winger who can play physically and score up and down the lineup.
  • Jones is 20 years old and while his upside is not there compared to others on the team he still brings a level of skill that most teams don't have.  Trade chip possibly, if not he can jump in and be a 5th/6th dman on this team.
  • Miller is 21 and probably the most solid dman we have, not only can he play physically but he has shown that he has an offensive element to his game as well.  This by far is the dumbest suggestion that you have made.
  • Strome while most will not believe this but he is the prototypical 2nd line center, he goes out there and works hard every shift and can actually keep up with Panarin, is he the right guy?  He has proven the last 2 years that he is and should maintain the right to play until he doesn't.

You are ready to dump those 3-4 players for a player that WAS elite prior to the injury, do you know for a fact that if and when he gets whichever surgery that he will be back to being the elite player he was prior?  I cant and anyone that states they can is either a psychic or a LIAR!

Jumping in on Eichel now will strap the team financially through 2025-26, please explain how you would build a lineup with the following players that will require heft raises.

  • Subtract the player traded for Eichel - in your scenario Chytil - Kravtsov - Jones - Hajek/Miller
  • Zibanajed UFA in 2022-23
  • Strome UFA in 2022-23
  • Kaapo RFA in 2022-23
  • Fox RFA in 2022-23
  • Georgiev RFA in 2022-23
  • Lafreniere RFA in 2023-24
  • Lindgren RFA in 2024-25
  • Lundkvist RFA in 2024-25

I think it is time for your to watch the games and stop pretending to be a Scout/GM, unless you are doing it in NHL 21.

EuroTrash and Russians DONT win Stanley cups says the dumbass. Do you remember the 93-94 Rangers had 4 Russians, and 1 Fin win the cup Kovalev, Nemchinov, Karpotsev, Zubov, and Tikkanen. Additionally, you can see below the amount of "EuroTrash and Russians" that were are on the last few Stanley Cup Winners....and they were key components to winning the cup.  Yet I am the dumbass.

Time for you to get your warm cup of milk and say night, night to all your make-believe friends.
