What's you projection for the upcoming season:

Playoffs: Yes - 3rd in the Metro - 5th in the East
Points: 102
Top point: Artemi Panarin - 125 (new franchise record)
Top goals: Mika Zibanejad - 50 (4th ranger to hit 50 in a season)
Wins: Shesterkin - 40 in around 65 games
Team PP: Ranked in top 10
Team PK: Ranked in middle of league

20 goal scorers: Panarin, Zibanejad, Kreider, Kakko and Chytil
50 point socrers: Panarin, Strome, Zibanejad, Fox

Top rookie - Nils Lundkvist

Career highs excluding rookies/sophomores - [current high]:
Ryan Strome - goals [18] and points [59]
Sammy Blais - goals [8] and points [15]
Barclay Goodrow - goals [8] and points [24]
Dryden Hunt - goals [3] and points [10]
Ryan Lindgren - goals [1] and points [16]

I don't expect much in the way of veteran trades this year, think the team will lean veteran as they make a run for the playoffs, but some of the younger players could be traded

I think you were drunk when you made up this list Fish. Kakko will most likely break 80 points this year. He was the best player I saw on any team this pre-season. His power, speed and puck handling was elite this pre-season. Unlike retard Quinn, Gallant keeps lines together. Playing on the Panarin line all year and on the first PP unit, Kakko is about to explode on the scene. To show you how dumb the Rangers are in certain areas of running the team, they should extend him before the season started. After about 10 games when he has 15+ points, they are going to fuck themselves.

No not drunk, but yes...figured I'd have some fun with this.

I do agree with you on Kakko though, I wouldn't be surprised to see him explode, and I generally went with the belief that this group will actually score more (but also give up more goals)...so that was part of the reasoning.

I'm cringing about what they will will have to end up paying Kakko after his first 10 to 15 games. On one hand I'm thrilled because I've been praying he would be a dominant player. On the other hand, the Rangers need to break this habit of always waiting for players to breakout big before paying them. Sometimes that works but when you talk about a talent like Kakko, it isn't smart. They should give him a 5 year, 25 million extension now. If he does what I expect he will do, he's going to want more than what the moron Habs just gave Suzuki.

Being productive during preseason games is good but he still needs to prove it during games that count against teams best players. I hope he scores a 100 pts. and will give him credit when he does... Until then he is euro trash with "potential"

Kakko doesn't play like a Euro. He battles in the corners. He drags players around. He goes to the net. Buchnevich was a euro pussy. Kravtsov was a euro pussy. Miller kind of plays like a euro pussy and he needs to change it. Zibanejad is half and half. Sometimes he competes really hard. Sometimes he just mails it in. Hopefully, the new guys on the team will have an impact on him. Kreider also. He plays like a pansy for his size more than half his games.
