![]() Posts: 2325 ![]() | As to the teams I picked, went 7 out of 8. Had Minny beating the Blues. Was off on the number of games in many series. Was correct on Carolina in 7 and Colorado in 4. Totally misread Dallas and the Pens were tougher than I thought they'd be. SECOND ROUND My heart says Rangers in 6, but my brain says Canes in 5. Florida in 7. The Bolts lost Point and Vasilevsky can steal one or two games in this series. But it's the season of the Panthers I think. The Battle of Alberta will end in 5. The Flames will chase Smith from the net in 2 or 3 of those games. Too much firepower and depth. St. Louis will test Colorado in this series. It will go 7, and St. Louis will upset the Avs.

Boston took Carolina to 7 and the Rangers are in the equation. Especially with the kid line stepping up. It gives the Rangers three lines that can score. Panarins game will be better suited against Carolina. The defence with Lindgren in, is back to the group used all season, although it looks like Braun will replace Nemeth which would be a improvement. I think Shestorokin got his eyes opened with Stanley Cup intensity round one and is over that hump. He will shine. Rangers can win this in 7. Florida in 6 over Point less Lightening. Calgary in 7 St. Louis in 7

Publisher Posts: 4377 ![]() Location: USA | Well, only went 2-2 in that round...time for the Conference Finals. Having a tough time seeing how Edmonton gets past Colorado, but think this goes 6 games 4-2 COL As for the Rangers v Lightning - this is a tough one to figure out, the Lightning are obvious favorites in this one, but the teams in some way play similar styles. I expect the Lightning to be more physical than either the Penguins or Canes, and their third line has been leading them in terms of goal scoring, so something to watch. Defense is strong, with Hedman leading the way, and their PK is better than either the previous two opponents. There's gaps though, and the Lightning aren't a team that is without holes...and they don't forecheck as hard as the Canes, so maybe the Rangers find some more opportunities...only to have to try and been Vasilievsky. I'm going to say this one goes to 7 games, Lightning prevailing

Posts: 1211 ![]() | Colorado in 5 Rangers in 7. We split games in our house and in their house. Bolts win game 5 in our house, and the comeback kids pull out games 6 & 7. RANGERS BABY!
