The New York Rangers rookie camp will begin on Wednesday (September 14) and it will culminate in two game set against the Philadelphia Flyers rookies.

Game 1 will be at 7:05 PM ET on Friday (September 16) followed by the finale on Saturday (September 17) starting at 5:05 PM ET. Both games will be played in Pennsylvania at PPL Center in Lehigh Valley. Last year’s rookie games were streamed on YouTube, no official word on if these contests will televised or streamed.

No Lundkvist....as expected, guess that's why they have Renault and Martin in the mix

Go Robertson.

Really hoping he can step up, and realistically I think the sixth D-spot is the only real opening here for the prospect invitees, though if guys like Othmann, Cuylle or Trivigno have stand out camps, then there's a chance I guess they could get in the mix there...though seems unlikely at this point.

Not much really to be garnered from prospect camp except perhaps who gets talked about the most.

I think Robertson needs another year in the AHL hopefully this time without a bunch of scrubs on his roster.

Jones apparently was given the option of attending, and chose to come to rookie camp as a 21 year old, believing that helped him prepare for Camp proper. He's also added around 10 pounds, acknowledging that he got pushed around a bit too much last year.

Alfano appears to be an 18 year old forward out of the OHL, so he's still draft eligible...just there for the experience

Saw the Wolfpack play in Charlotte. Jones got into a scrap with a much bigger guy and I was impressed how well he handled himself.

Last day of rookie camp today...players report to the main camp tomorrow.

Can't say for sure that anyone stood out from camp, though Othmann got some mentions from the Flyers guy in the second rookie scrimmage. Garand was also pretty solid in his one outing, and Sykora seems to be prominent. Will be interesting to see how Cuylle, Jones and Robertson look in big camp, they haven't necessarily seen stood out in the coverage over the last week, so some work to do.
