So it appears the Rangers and Blackhawks are heading to a trade for Kane. Given the most likely path to freeing up money, we should see Jake Leschyshyn on waivers today, which would allow for a trade on March 3rd.
Multiple reports suggest that the Blackhawks have come down on their asking price, with Kane said to have pushed hard for a move to New York.

Dan Blackburn was one of the youngest netminders to ever appear in the NHL, and he set another milestone in the 2002-03 season by starting 18 consecutive games as a teenager. On December 6th, he became just the fourth NHL netminder to start in 15 or more consecutive games, giving up 3 goals on 25 shots in a 4-1 loss to Buffalo. He'd start the next three games as well, in the streak that began November 7th and ended December 14th. |
